Brochure design and prepress for HAURATON — separators and Drainfix Clean
For HAURATON Croatia, a specialist in drainage and stormwater management, we designed a new 20-page brochure and handled its complete prepress. The brochure presents two stormwater treatment programmes in one place: light liquid and food grease separators, and Drainfix Clean channels with filter substrate.
The biggest challenge was the amount of technical content. The HRN EN 858 and 1825 standards, capacity tables covering dozens of models, material comparisons and operating principles all had to stay accurate while the brochure remained easy to read. We split the content into two clear sections, each with its own opening page, and gave them a consistent rhythm: introduction, key benefits, highlighted figures, areas of application and technical specifications.
Technical data became clear, structured tables, while the steps for choosing a system and the key benefits became numbered blocks. The most important values, such as concrete class, cover load class and the relevant standard, stand out as large figures, and the areas of application are shown as a row of pictograms. Installation photos, 3D product renders and diagrams of how the separators and filter channels work sit on a grid that holds the whole brochure together, in the dark teal and mint tones of the HAURATON identity.
The brochure closes with reference projects, a notes page and a back cover with contact details and a QR code for a free consultation.

This is our third project with HAURATON, following a set of leaflets with a tri-fold brochure and a holiday greeting card.
