Sendvic-paneli.hr — a website for roof and façade sandwich panels
For B100 d.o.o., a distributor of Topanel sandwich panels, I built a dedicated website — sendvic-paneli.hr — devoted entirely to a single business line: roof and façade sandwich panels with PUR and PIR cores. The goal was to present a technical product clearly and convincingly, explain the advantages of sandwich panels for industrial halls, warehouses and logistics buildings, and guide the visitor directly toward one action: sending an inquiry and requesting a made-to-measure quote. I conceived and built the entire site from scratch, from the concept and content to the design and the code.
I built the visual identity around a serious, industrial mood — a dark, almost-black background in a warm grey-brown tone, with an orange accent that leads the eye toward the important elements and calls to action. The large headlines are carried by the Bricolage Grotesque typeface, while the technical data and body text are held by IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono, giving the site a dependable, engineering character. On the homepage I also created a cross-section of a panel in three layers — the outer steel sheet, the insulating core and the inner sheet — which explains at a glance what a sandwich panel is made of, alongside the key figures such as thermal conductivity, maximum panel length and fire resistance.
The content is arranged as a logical path through the topic. The homepage opens with the product range and its two panel lines, explains why sandwich panels are the standard for fast, energy-efficient construction, lists the typical applications and, in four steps, walks the user from inquiry to delivery. The roof panels and the wall and façade panels each have their own detailed pages with a technical description, profiles and options; the gallery shows examples of the panels applied on real buildings; and the contact page brings together an inquiry form, the company details and the opening hours. Everything is fully responsive, so it works equally well on a phone, a tablet and a computer.
Technically, I built the site as a fast, static site with no framework whatsoever — plain HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, plus PHP for the contact form that sends inquiries straight to the company’s email. This approach means minimal maintenance, excellent loading speed and a long life with no dependence on external systems. I put special emphasis on SEO: every page has its own titles and descriptions, Open Graph and Twitter tags for a clean preview when shared, schema.org structured data of the GeneralContractor type with the address, contact and opening hours, a sitemap and a robots file. The photography is optimised for fast loading, and through the Apache configuration I handled clean URLs and forced redirection to HTTPS.
The end result is a self-contained, professional website that makes a technical product understandable and approachable, builds trust through concrete figures, and quietly leads the visitor to make contact — exactly how a sales-focused website for a construction product should work.
