Bytefall Featured as App of the Day on Bug.hr
Good news: Croatian tech portal Bug.hr featured Bytefall, our gallery cleaner app, in its App of the Day column on 28 September 2026. Bug describes it as a Croatian-made app that helps you clean up your photo gallery and free up space on your phone.
What Bug highlighted
A phone gallery quickly fills up with duplicates, forgotten screenshots, images saved from WhatsApp and Viber, and large videos. Bytefall deals with that in a few steps:
- A fast scan of the whole gallery, right on the phone.
- Sorting into groups: exact duplicates, similar photos, old screenshots, images from other apps, large videos and, optionally, blurry photos.
- Quick Sweep: a quick clean-up of everything that is safely waste.
- Suggestions on which photos to keep among duplicates and similar shots.
- A bin: nothing is deleted straight away, so you can review everything once more.
- Filtering by time range, with an exact figure for how much space the found items take up.
Why we built Bytefall
We wanted a tool that cleans the gallery without sending photos to someone else's servers. That is why the entire analysis runs on the phone: your photos never leave the device. At Designer2 we built Bytefall from idea to launch, covering the interface design, iOS and Android development, and publishing on the App Store and Google Play.
