How We Build iOS and Android Apps

Looking for a company to build your mobile app for iOS and Android? In this article we show exactly how we work — from the first idea to a published app on the App Store and Google Play. We're not a middleman or an agency that outsources your project: we conceive, design, develop and publish apps ourselves. At the end of the article you can click through and try the apps we've already released.
Whether you're building an app for a small business or a brand-new product idea, the process is always clear and transparent. Here's what it looks like.
Our app development process — step by step
1. Idea, analysis and estimate. First we sit down with you (in person or online) to understand what the app needs to do, who the users are and what the business goal is. From that we produce a feature list, a proposed scope and a rough estimate of cost and timeline. Right here we advise what's worth building in the first version and what can wait.
2. UX/UI design. Before any coding, we design the screens and the flow through the app, so you can see exactly how it will look and work. We design to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Google's Material Design, so the app feels natural to users on both platforms.
3. Development for iOS and Android. Then comes the coding. We build modern, fast apps for both platforms — Android in Kotlin (Jetpack Compose), iOS in Swift — with a focus on performance, security and offline capability where it makes sense. Throughout development we send you regular builds to try, so there are no surprises at the end.
4. Testing. Before launch we test the app thoroughly on real devices and across different screen sizes, fixing bugs and polishing the details. The goal is for the very first version users download to be stable.
5. Launch on the App Store and Google Play. We handle the entire release — from preparing the description, icons and screenshots, through the store settings, to the submission itself and passing Apple's and Google's review. The app can be published under your account or ours, whichever suits you.
6. Maintenance and updates. Once it's live, the app isn't "done and forgotten". We monitor it, keep it up to date with new versions of Android and iOS, add features and provide ongoing support.
Apps we've published
The best proof that we do this right is live apps you can download and try immediately. We conceived, designed, developed and published each of them end to end:
Hunterly
A smart hunting assistant — solunar forecasts, hunting conditions and a logbook, all in one place. The app is expanding across European markets.
Tisch Fishing Europe
A fishing app with an interactive map of fishing zones, forecasts and a home-screen widget — tailored for European waters.
Tisch Fishing
A fishing app for the Adriatic — tides, solunar tables, bait recommendations and species-specific fishing tips.
Why choose us to build your app?
Because we do everything in one place — design, development and release — so there's no passing responsibility between multiple vendors. Communication is direct, and we're a company with our own published apps you can verify for yourself. We offer unlimited revisions during development, a clear quote with no hidden costs, and support after launch.
If you also want to know why investing in your own app pays off in the first place, read our article on why a custom application is the best investment for your business. For more about the service and pricing, see our mobile and desktop app development page.
